• Aprilia SR 150 cc Motard style scooter manufactured by Piaggio, Italy, 2 seater, 240 km autonomy on single 6L tank of fuel, petrol or gasoline fuel, ABS brakes, 80 cm rider seat height.
• Full tank of fuel (to be returned full).
• Comprehensive insurance.
• Back-up service in case of breakdown.
• Unlimited mileage
• Paper map on Zanzibar.

Exclusions
Not included in the rentals are:

• Refundable excess insurance cover.
• Personal health insurance.
• Helmet for rider and pillion.
• Zanzibar Driving Permit (compulsory for non Zanzibar driving licenses).

Driver’s licence category: A, A1, A2

Min. age for driver: 18.

Security deposit per bike (fully refundable): USD 50

Rental requirements;

• Valid scooter driver’s license.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Copy of passport.
• Payment in advance in full for rental period and any extras.
• Security deposit of US$ 50 for scooters.

Terms and Conditions of the rental company:

• Rentals are currently only available for Zanzibar (Unguja) Island.
• Scooters cannot be moved to Mainland Tanzania by the renter.
• It is illegal to ride motorcycles and scooters on beaches of Zanzibar. For this and other reasons it is therefore prohibited to ride our scooters on the beach.
• The laws of Zanzibar require that any rider riding a motorcycle or scooter of over 125 cc wear a protective head helmet. It is therefore prohibited by the company to ride a company scooter without a helmet.
• It is prohibited by the company to ride with more than a total of two people on a company scooter.
